DESCRIPTION:Dear Medical Physicist\, \nThis is to inform you that the deadline for submission of abstracts to the 3rd European Congress of Medical Physics (ECMP2020) is only three weeks away\, on 1st February 2021! \nAs you know\, the global pandemic prevented ECMP2020 from taking place in September 2020 as originally planned. Thus\, our congress was postponed\, and is scheduled to take place in Torino (Italy) from 16th to 19th June 2021 at the fabulous Lingotto conference centre. \nThe Congress planning committee and local organisers believe that\, even though there remain worldwide travel limitations\, the situation is very likely to improve in the coming months. Therefore\, with vaccinations already started and ramping up\, we are certainly aiming for an on-site congress.\nFull information about the abstract submission procedures and what to do in case of already submitted abstracts (e.g. how to update a submitted abstract) can be found on the “scientific information – call for abstract” section of this web site. \nAlready more than 450 abstracts have been received. \nDon’t delay in submitting your work if you would like to be part of this important conference! \nWe look forward to seeing you in Turin in June!
