The International Day of Medical Physics is one of IOMP’s flagship activities where medical physicists all over the world celebrate our profession and promote the vital role medical physicists play in healthcare.
Part of the activity is the announcement of the IOMP IDMP Award – an annual honor given by the IOMP on the IDMP to recognize excellence in Medical Physics with a particular view of promoting medical physics to a larger audience and highlighting the contributions medical physicists make for patient care.
