This is to announce our 7th Summer School in Medical Physics that will take place in a hybrid mode in August/ September 2026. The Summer School provides a comprehensive introduction to the role of 3D printing in medical physics, with a particular focus on applications in radiotherapy. It is aimed at students (BSc, MSc, PhD, MD) and young scientists with a background in medical physics, physics, medical technology or similar fields. The course consists of an approximately five-week online phase, followed by a five-day hybrid attendance phase. Further information is available at www.dkfz.de/summer_school2026 .

- Online Phase: Aug. 24 – Sep. 27, 2026
- 1st mandatory Online Test (Multiple Choice): Sep. 8 – Sep. 27, 2026
(During this period participants can do the first mandatory online test whenever they have time.) - Live Online Session via Zoom (taking place during the online phase)

- 2nd mandatory Online Test (Multiple Choice): Oct. 2 – Oct. 19, 2026
(During this period participants can do the second online test whenever they have time.)

The attendance phase in Heidelberg is hosted as a hybrid event and thus, all sessions are available on Zoom to those who attend online only.
